The Shepparton Football Netball Club, also known as the Shepparton Bears, has a proud history in the Goulburn Valley Football League. The Club is committed to providing a positive sporting experience, and focuses on skills development, sportsmanship, participation, and success in a family-friendly environment.
The progressive and inclusive Club has recently established a robust container collection initiative, aiming to engage support from members, players, sponsors, and social media followers.
FOOTT is providing support for the Club through the CDS Vic at FOOTT depots.
The Bears visited the Shepparton CDS Vic FOOTT depot recently with a great turnout of players and officials who witnessed the FOOTT operation in full swing. They were impressed by the depot overall and the fast-counting machines and also enjoyed meeting Team FOOTT people.
It was a great experience for everyone, and Team FOOTT was proud to host such a friendly group.
The club is raising funds for several facility and infrastructure projects, including a front ramp for dignified and equitable access, along with upgrading restroom facilities to include a disabled toilet and suitable facilities for parents and baby changing.
Containers are collected through sales at the FJ Edwards Clubrooms and the outside bar on game days at Deakin Reserve and members are also dropping off their containers directly to the club to help with the fundraising efforts.
The team at FOOTT wishes the Shepparton Bears every success in their endeavour to raise funds for such important infrastructure improvements at the Club.
