Role overview:

The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing all site processing, maintenance, and CDS depots, ensuring efficient and effective production across all FOOTT sites. This role involves leading a team, driving continuous improvement, and maintaining a safe and high-performing work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage safety across operations to ensure a safe workplace.
  • Drive efficiencies and identify continuous improvement initiatives using data analytics.
  • Implement cost reduction and cashflow initiatives to enhance business profitability.
  • Complete management reports to assist with decision-making.
  • Collaborate with the CDS Depot Site Supervisor to maintain and improve depot operations.
  • Prepare and manage operational expenses and key reports.

Your Skills & Experience:

  • Proven safety leadership with a commitment to workplace safety.
  • Innovative thinker with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Results-oriented with the ability to set and achieve aspirational targets.
  • Experience in managing resources and work sites, with a preference for over 4 years of experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Project management experience is a plus.
  • High School Certificate/Diploma, leadership/management experience, forklift license, and a valid Victorian Driver’s License.

Location: This is an onsite role based in Shepparton, Northeast Victoria, and we are specifically seeking candidates who are regionally based in this area.
